These terms explain how driving lessons, bookings, cancellations and training enquiries are handled by Pro Driving School.
1. About these terms
These Terms & Conditions apply to driving lessons, refresher lessons, Pass Plus, intensive course enquiries and training support arranged with Pro Driving School.
By booking or attending lessons, you agree to follow these terms and any reasonable instructions given by your instructor.
2. Booking lessons
Lessons are subject to instructor availability, location and suitability. Pro Driving School will confirm lesson availability after receiving your enquiry.
Please provide accurate contact details, your pickup area, your driving experience and the type of lesson or training you are interested in.
3. Lesson payments
Payment arrangements should be confirmed with Pro Driving School before your lesson or course begins.
Some lessons, packages or intensive courses may require advance payment or a deposit to secure booking time.
4. Cancellations and changes
If you need to cancel or rearrange a lesson, please give as much notice as possible.
Late cancellations may be charged, especially where the instructor is unable to fill the reserved lesson time.
5. Lateness
Learners should be ready at the agreed pickup location and lesson time.
If you are late, the lesson may still finish at the original scheduled time. If the instructor is delayed, reasonable effort will be made to make up the time or rearrange where appropriate.
6. Learner responsibility
You must be legally entitled to drive and must bring any required licence or identification when requested.
You must tell your instructor about any medical condition, eyesight issue, medication or change in circumstances that may affect your ability to drive safely.
7. Fitness to drive
You must not attend a lesson under the influence of alcohol, drugs or anything that could affect your ability to drive safely.
The instructor may cancel or stop a lesson if they believe it is unsafe to continue.
8. Driving tests
Driving test bookings are the learner’s responsibility unless otherwise agreed.
Your instructor may advise whether you are ready to use the training vehicle for a practical test. The instructor may refuse use of the vehicle for a test if they believe you are not test-ready or if it would be unsafe.
9. Intensive courses
Intensive course suitability depends on your current ability, experience, confidence and availability.
Pro Driving School may recommend a different lesson plan if an intensive course is not suitable for your current stage.
10. Refunds
Refunds depend on the type of booking, notice given, lessons already taken and any time reserved by the instructor.
Any refund request should be discussed directly with Pro Driving School.
11. Instructor availability
Lessons may occasionally need to be rearranged due to illness, vehicle issues, weather, traffic disruption or other circumstances outside of the instructor’s control.
Pro Driving School will make reasonable efforts to rearrange affected lessons.
